Reservation Requirements
A 25% deposit is required to secure your charter reservation. This deposit is fully refundable if we cancel due to weather or unsafe conditions.
Payment Methods
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Bank transfers for advance bookings
- Cash accepted for final payment on charter day
Booking Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email with your charter details, meeting location, and captain contact information within 24 hours of booking.
Guest Cancellations
- 7+ days notice: Full refund minus 3% processing fee
- 3-6 days notice: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days: No refund (can reschedule if available)
Weather Cancellations
If Captain Jonathan cancels due to unsafe weather conditions, you receive a full refund or can reschedule at no charge. Weather decisions are made for safety and are final.
Emergency Situations
In case of family emergencies or medical situations, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a partial refund when possible.
Safety Guidelines
Captain Jonathan prioritizes safety above all else. Charters may be cancelled or rescheduled due to:
- Small craft advisories or storm warnings
- Winds exceeding 20 mph sustained
- Severe thunderstorms or lightning
- Fog with visibility less than 1/4 mile
Decision Timeline
Weather decisions are typically made the evening before or morning of your charter. You will be contacted by phone or text as soon as a decision is made.
Light Rain/Overcast
Light rain and overcast conditions often produce excellent fishing. We fish in light rain unless lightning is present.
Charter Pricing
- 1-3 anglers: $940 total (includes 4% processing fee)
- 4+ anglers: $315 per person (includes 4% processing fee)
- Maximum capacity: 6 anglers
What's Included
All fishing equipment, bait, tackle, ice, and professional guide service. You only need to bring your Louisiana fishing license, food, and drinks.
Payment Schedule
25% deposit due at booking, remaining balance due on charter day. All major credit cards accepted.
Safety Requirements
All passengers must follow captain's safety instructions. Life jackets are provided and may be required depending on conditions.
Age Requirements
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All passengers under 16 fish under adult supervision and licensing.
Fishing License
Louisiana fishing license required for anglers 16 and older. Licenses can be purchased online at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website.
Assumption of Risk
Fishing involves inherent risks. Participants fish at their own risk and should inform the captain of any medical conditions or physical limitations.
